CMY is my first in the Ice Dye line. It is named after the three colors used in the dyeing, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. These three dye powders are generously sprinkled over the ice and allowed to slow release for 24hours to get that maximum coverage and stay.

As these yarns to take much longer to dye as well as only 2 per dyelot, they are priced slightly higher than the wool yarns.

Cellulose fiber doesn’t quite like to hold these dyes all too well, so some color bleed may occur the first few washes. Color may fade with time.

Wet block when finished working. Some color bleeding may happen on first wash.

The yarn is dyed in the same pot, but that by no means promises they will each take the dye the same. If you are making a large project, please feel free to reach out and I can work with you to ensure the yarn you get is from the same dyelot, or dye them special for you. I want to ensure your product turns out as beautifully as you imagine it!

Studio is not pet-free, cats and dogs are present. I try my best to avoid their contact with product, but alas. They are powerful beings.

Handwash with wash of your choice, lay flat to dry.
