Our Plain Cashmere is a woolen yarn and, at 16.5 microns, is among the highest quality cashmere yarns in the industry. It originates from the high mountain regions of Mongolia. It is spun and dyed in Italy.
Cashmere is one of the softest, finest fibers in the world: cashmere hairs have a fiber fineness of 15 – 19 microns – the lower the micron number, i.e. the thinner the individual fiber, the softer.
